Rocker Rick Springfield Set for Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
Friday, January 18
COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (November 16, 2018) – Rocker Rick Springfield will perform in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek on Friday, January 18, at 8 p.m.
Tickets (priced at $40/$50/$65) are on sale now via Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-653-8000. The Pavilion box office will also open at 1 p.m. on the day of the show for on-site ticket purchases and will call pickup.
Over the past four decades, Springfield has worn many hats as an entertainer and performer. He’s the creator of some of the finest power-pop of the ’80s and is a Grammy winning singer, songwriter and musician who has sold 25 million albums.
Springfield has scored 17 U.S. Top 40 hits, including “Jessie’s Girl,” “Don’t Talk to Strangers,” “An Affair of the Heart,” “I've Done Everything for You,” “Love Somebody” and “Human Touch.”
He’s also an accomplished actor who has starred opposite Meryl Streep in the feature film Ricki and the Flash, gave a chameleonic performance as the creepy Dr. Pitlor in HBO’s prestige drama True Detective, earned great reviews for his portrayal of Lucifer this season on the CW hit, Supernatural, and most recently played Pastor Charles on American Horror Story.
In 2014, Springfield was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, located around the corner from the first apartment he lived in after he arrived in the U.S. from Australia in 1971.
His latest album, “The Snake King,” finds Springfield exploring the blues side of rock ‘n roll, which marks a departure from the power pop that he has been known for.
