Executive Sous Chef
Earl Govenor is the Executive Sous Chef for Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
Govenor, who has more than 20 years of culinary experience, reports to the property’s Executive Chef Chris Fearnow.
Prior to joining Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Govenor worked at a number of Las Vegas-based properties including the Mirage Casino, All Star Cafe, Silverton Casino and Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino.
Govenor was a Banquet Cook at the Mirage for four years, prior to becoming the Kitchen Manager at All Star Cafe.
At the Silverton Casino, Govenor was the Executive Room Chef for 11 years. One of his main duties was to continually monitor all of the property’s nine restaurants to make sure food quality and service standards were consistently met.
While at Green Valley Ranch Resort Spa & Casino, Govenor was the Specialty Room Chef and was featured on the cable network show American Casino.
“I’m extremely happy to be at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek,” said Govenor, who started his culinary career at an early age as a dishwasher. “I support all of the food and beverage outlets at the property. My main job is to keep things running smoothly while making sure our high standards are upheld.
“I’m really passionate about making sure our guests are satisfied. We really want our guests to arrive happy and leave happy. It’s all about being consistently great.”
