Chris Fearnow Named Executive Chef at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek
COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (September 30, 2016) – Chris Fearnow has been named Executive Chef at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
He will oversee the culinary operations as connected to Seminole Casino Coconut Creek’s six dining venues which includes NYY Steak, Sorrisi, Fresh Harvest, 1st Street Deli, Sunset Grill and Nectar.
Prior to joining Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, Fearnow primarily worked at Las Vegas-based properties including The Mirage, Bellagio, Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino, Larry’s Old Ranch House, Stardust Hotel, Texas Station, Silverton Hotel & Casino and the Green Valley Ranch.
While at Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas, he was featured on the cable network show American Casino. He’s also appeared on Food Network’s Meat on the Bone and was a judge on Fox Network’s Hell’s Kitchen.
Fearnow has accumulated almost 40 years of culinary experience, after starting as a prep cook at a coffee sandwich shop his parents owned in Las Vegas.
A graduate of the Nate Hart Cooking School at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas where he studied European cookery, Fearnow has worked with some of the finest chefs over the years including Master Chef David Kellaway, Joseph Mulligan and Lance Lambert.
“I feel that the kitchen is the heart of the home and it is where families share the day’s experience over great meals,” said Fearnow. “I have passed down the love of food to all of my five children – yes, they all cook and some are chefs as well.
“I always enjoy making guests happy with food whether it’s a 99 cent hot dog or a nine-course chef’s tasting menu at $300 per guest. The feeling is the same when people enjoy my creations.”
