COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (August 8, 2017) – Comedians Artie Lange and Richard Lewis will perform Saturday, October 7, at 8 p.m. in The Pavilion at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.
Tickets priced at $35/$45/$55 per person are on sale now via Ticketmaster locations, online at Ticketmaster.com, or by calling 800-653-8000.
Titled “Artie Lange with Richard Lewis,” the 90-minute show will feature Lange, the former member of The Howard Stern Radio Show, and Lewis, the long-time stand-up comic who returns for his ninth season on HBO’s Curb Your Enthusiasm.
A New Jersey native, Lange made his debut as a stand-up comic in 1987 before taking up the profession full-time in the early 1990s while performing in clubs and at improv shows in and around New York City.
In the mid-1990s, Lange spent two years starring on the sketch comedy series Mad TV prior to securing several film and television roles. He then spent eight years as a member of The Howard Stern Radio Show. During his time on the radio show, he pursued various projects including two comedy albums, a feature film (Artie Lange’s Beer League) and his first book (Too Fat to Fish), which entered the New York Times Best Seller list at number one.
Lewis rose to prominence in the 1980s as a comedian specializing in self-deprecating humor before turning to acting. Prior to landing his semi-autobiographical role on Curb Your Enthusiasm, he’s had numerous comedy specials and recently became an author. His first series was co-starring with Jamie Lee Curtis in the comedy series Anything but Love, which ran for four seasons.
From Brooklyn, N.Y., Lewis’s trademark is wearing an all-black outfit when he performs. The former ad agency copywriter is ranked #45 on Comedy Central’s list of “100 Greatest Standups of All Time.”
