Salute to Jimi Hendrix Show, Deuces Wild Comedy Show

COCONUT CREEK, Fla. (September 12, 2016) – A salute to Jimi Hendrix show and a comedy show will be featured in Nectar over the next couple of weeks at Seminole Casino Coconut Creek.

South Florida native Roosevelt Collier will take the stage on Friday, September 16, at 8 p.m. with his “Jimi Meets Funk: A Salute to Jimi Hendrix” free show.

Collier, whose collaborations over the years include the Allman Brothers, Elvin Bishop, Galactic, Government Mule and the Warren Haynes Band, has floored audiences around the country with his lightning-fast slide work on the steel guitar.

On Friday, September 23, the Deuces Wild Comedy Show takes over the spotlight with two free shows beginning at 8 p.m.

The headlining comic will be Steve Marshall, as seen on Showtime, CBS and Comedy Central. Marshall has regularly appeared at comedy clubs in New York City and performed in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. He debuted his one-man show – “What I Learned in Brooklyn is Don’t Behave!” – at the Coral Springs Center for the Performing Arts.

Perry Sak, of Nite Time Miami fame and winner of Mardi Gras Comedy Challenge 2013, will host both comedy shows, while the featured comic will be Will “Rock the House” Lewis, winner of Mardi Gras Comedy Challenge 2015.
